• Meal photos you capture or select from your gallery
• Chat messages with the AI health coach

With your permission, we also access:

• Camera — to photograph meals for AI-powered nutrition logging
• Photo library — to select existing meal photos
• Health data (Apple Health / Google Health Connect) — to read steps, weight, heart rate, sleep, and other metrics you choose to share, and to write nutrition and water intake data
• Microphone — for voice-based chat input

How We Use Your Information

• Provide personalized AI health coaching and nutrition analysis
• Analyze meal photos to estimate nutritional content
• Track your health goals and calculate progress
• Sync health metrics between your device and your Amigo profile
• Improve our AI models and service quality

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit). Meal photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication and data storage
• Amazon Bedrock (Claude AI) — AI health coaching and meal analysis
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Apple Health / Google Health Connect — health data sync (with your permission)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@amigohealthai.com.

Children's Privacy

Amigo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
